Description of Practice
I am Executive Director and ADR Program Manager at Boston Law Collaborative, LLC (BLC). I'm an attorney and have been a trained mediator and facilitator, since 1998. I mediate commercial cases, provide facilitation and systems design for workplace conflicts and serve as a hearing officer and neutral fact-finder. I am also a Parenting Coordinator in family law cases.
I'm a member of the Administrative Office of the Trial Court’s Standing Committee on Dispute Resolution (2011 - ) and I teach Conflict and Negotiation at Emerson College. I am part of MCLE’s faculty for ADR training programs and I Co-Chaired the Annual ADR and the Law Conference for its first three years (2009-2011).
I have taught mediation, negotiation, conciliation, and arbitration for almost 15 years in conjunction with a variety of organizations including the American Bar Association, The Mass. Administrative Office of the Trial Court, MCLE, The Mass. Office of Dispute Resolution(now MOPC), and BLC.
I have designed and managed conflict resolution programs for the Superior Court, the Commonwealth of Mass., federal agencies, and private corporations including the Gillette/Procter and Gamble Severance Denial Appeal Program. My work includes facilitating intra-agency disputes and I created the first federally-funded Agricultural Mediation Program in New England.
I'm a 2011 and 2012 New England Super Lawyer-a list published annually by Thompson-Reuters of lawyers viewed by their peers as being in the top 5% of the profession, and named a Top Woman Attorney in Mass(Boston Magazine April,2013).
